Throwback Thursday
One of the more influential events that provided a foundation for the fixed gear trick scene, Fast Friday, embodied all the alluring aspects of riding; camaraderie, progression, and the simple pursuit of a good time. Though I never had the opportunity to attend one, the photos and videos themselves are enough to capture and convey some of the event’s energy. Local photographer, Kyle Johnson, documented many Fast Friday’s. The January 2008 event was held out at the infamous I-90 Tunnel spot. Below are a few of my favorites from Kyle’s flickr set
