Zane Meyer just put this video up of the Epic comp that went down in Sacramento. Great vibes and some awesome riding combined with zane’s production skills make for a great edit. Its good to see different filmers come together, makes for a more complete coverage of a comp.
Matt Reyes teamed up with Colby Elrick from SKYLMT to bring us this awesome coverage from the AFC Uproar competition that was held during the SF Bike Expo

With the race quickly approaching I thought I would good to give people another reminder to come out to Saturday’s ZLOGCAT alleycat and party. We have a lot of awesome sponsors on board and those who come out and race will not leave empty handed. Each person to register for the race will get a ZLOGCAT tee and they will also be available to purchase at the after party (while supplies last). Once the race finishes up, the party at Piranha Shop will begin, where the prize giveaway and raffle will happen. Take a look below to see what kind of swag we’ve got to give away.
This Mission Workshop Vandal backpack is the top prize and will go to the fastest cat.
Boombotix hooked it up with a pair of their portable BoomBot speakers which can clip onto a belt and blast some serious sound.
Full Speed Ahead and POW Gloves
Also, Chrome is sending a last minute prize for the winner, the Chrome Coveted jersey. The only way you can obtain a Coveted jersey is to win it.
We will be raffling some prizes from Leader Bike & Rudy’s Barbershop along with some of the above swag, so come and check it out.
I hope to see everyone there.
Joe “My Name Isn’t Couch” Mckeag showed up prepared for the Ride & Style with an arsenal of huge tricks. His truckdriver was the first one I’ve seen landed in a fixed gear competition, and his 540 was a real showstopper. He is easily one of the best young riders out there, and will surely be a favorite to watch in future competitions.
Another from #FIXIEFAMOUS! This one covers the race portion and includes all of the bangers from the trick comp as well. Tyler’s feeble to 180 bar down an 8 foot drop was nuts!
Ramon put together a really sick edit of Saturday’s Red Bull Ride and Style weekend. Be prepared to get flooded with event coverage throughout the week. So much great shit went down.
Ronnie Garcia also dropped a highlight reel of the event.
I am so stoked I was there to witness it all. I’ll be posting photos and a video as soon as I sift through all of it. Shout out to all the people I saw/met. It was a blast.
Man the dudes at Fixie Famous put this edit out with the quickness. So many rad things went down at the competition and the guys at FF were there to capture it all. I am positive this is only the first of many killer edits to surface of the Red Bull event. Rad meeting you Dante!

Future Tense was a blast on Friday and here is an absolutely astounding video of all the excitement that went down throughout the course of the event. If you weren’t able to make it then hopefully this video will give you a glimpse into what went down.
Thank you to everyone who made it! We had 80+ people in attendance and amazing weather. Tyler Johnson jumped over a Red Bull car and through fire. He definitely kept people entertained. Congrats to Felix for winning the sprints which earned him a Contour ROAM camera.
Shout out to all of the creatives involved with the making of this video. It is better than I could’ve possibly expected (or done myself). Thank you!

Coming up in just a couple of weeks on April 28th. Be in San Francisco for the biggest fixed gear event the West coast will see this year.
Today is a really exciting day because it will be host to one of the biggest Future Tense events of the year. The bunch of rad people worked really hard preparing for this event and I want to thank all of those who pitched in! For those who want to do the group ride from Cal Anderson to the event, please be ready to roll at 6:30 sharp. Otherwise meet at 65th and Ravenna. The trick demo (feat. Tyler Johnson & the ZLOG Crew) will be held at 7:00, and ramps will be ready for use around 5:00 for those freestylers who want to hit them up early. Those riders of a faster pace, there will be head-to-head sprints going down as well as a mini-crit (registration 7:30). A Contour ROAM camera will be atop the prize pile. Later in the night we will be raffling off a 727 Track frame from Leader bikes, as well as a number of other goodies from FSA, POW Gloves, Casual Industrees, Flying Coffin, Coal Headwear, Gravity, Stay Gold Straps, and also a wheel build by Seattle’s most celebrated bicycle mechanic Tre Wideman. Tickets will be $2 so bring some extra cash. To end the night we will be heading to the Kraken Bar and Lounge for some live music by Junk Drawer Vibrator & Lindseys benefiting the Seattle N.A.C.C.C.’s (more info).
Check out the Future Tense event page for more details.
Here is a vid of the recent Paris comp that NUCULT hosted. You might recognize some of the same things from the Ninjas in Paris edit, but from a different perspective. Good stuff all around, but what is up with all of the peg stuff? Isn’t it supposed to be sans pegs?
Congrats to Christian Coomer (of PedalRoom fame) who took first in the Alleycat on Friday. Despite rain and the fire department threatening to shut down the after party, I would say it was an overall success. 15 racers made it out including the infamous Craig Etheridge (who took 3rd). Future Tense also popped off during the race, which was a checkpoint where we forced each person to “do a trick”.
The next NACCC benefit race is March 31st and involves lots of stairs. Come out and show your support! Check the facebook event page here.
Keep up with all of the happenings at the SEA NACCC website.
So I posted coverage earlier today of some of the amateur riding from the Royal HC Flash Comp and this one has more footage of the sponsored riders as well. Always good vids from Mashafix!

Here is a video submitted today of the Royal HC trick competition in Long Beach, California. Amateur riders giving it their all. Looked like a good turnout!
Mike Chacon Posted up his invite to the 2nd Red Bull event based around fixed gear riding. Last years event was major and it really put fixed gear freestylers and racers under the spotlight. April 28th is the day for round two so book your tickets and start training!
Photos and videos from last years event can be found over at RedBull.

In a post last week I asked people to submit photos of their beaten and worn shoes to the ZLOG facebook page. We had 11 entries and one of them stood out among the others.
