So here is another commercial with more fixed gear imagery. This one shows Mike Chacon doing his spins. I got a chance to chat with him in LA and he said that it was a 3 day shoot for that short clip.

Saw this on Massan’s blog. The commercial is awesome and if you watch closely you can see Emi crash his bike 17 seconds in.

Not the first time I have heard of using tubes to reinforce foot retention. A Seattle foot retention maker, Stay Gold, has been offering straps with rubber tubes already on them. If you want to do know how to do it yourself check out this video from Burro. Nice hat Antonyo!

I met Boothby this weekend in Los Angeles. He is a really nice guy with a lot of energy and he can definitely kill it on a bike (fixed and BMX). I don’t quite understand why Fonseca felt the need to put out a teaser edit to promote an upcoming web edit (& Revoked DVD sales), but it is still worth a watch. Fonseca boldly states that this video is “showcasing the best riding in the Fixed Gear scene”. Obviously, that is an opinionated statement. A statement, which is best left for you to decide. Is Boothby the best? If not, who is? I wanna see some comments!

I have posted Fignon’s bikes on here before, but today is a day to celebrate the man. Laurent Fignon has passed on to the next life after a battle with cancer. He truly knew how to rock the powertail like a champ.
