It is awesome to see these clips from the Leader Crew. I was hanging with them for most of the Summer Fix weekend and was able to see some of this action in person. Good street stuff in the beginning from Nick Ramirez, and some competition footage of Mike Chacon and Matt Montoya near the middle of the video. There is even a clip of me somewhere in there.
Killer job on the edit Marcus!
Tony K, Mike Dinh, Sean Coats and JBall went down to LA and shot a little vid.
This just about sums up my weekend. Glad to be back in Seattle, but Los Angeles was amazing. Zane Meyer was able to capture all of the banger from the Summer Fix event.
Watch and enjoy!
LA Brakeless will be hosting theSummer Fix event in Venice Beach this weekend. I got a last minute flight so I can be there to represent for Zlog (and get away from the summer rain). I am hyped that I can make it down, I look forward to seeing everyone there.
Swoop one up and support the Los Angeles fixed gear scene.
It is refreshing to watch Keo ride. He has a style all his own.
Every Tuesday leading up to the release of To Live & Ride in L.A., We will be releasing exclusive content from the DVD. Today’s video features fixed gear pioneer Keo Curry hitting up one of L.A.’s classic skate spots, Bronson Ditch. One of the best spots to take out of towners or just go kick with the homies…
Our buddy Sean talks about riding in L.A., give it a watch.
You are invited! Tomorrow in L.A.
Be sure to RSVP.
Here are two photos that I’ve been sitting on since the LA Bike Film Festival street party, where Joe flipped over the bars and broke his collarbone. You can see just how shocked everyone was when he went down. Hern’s reaction in the background is priceless.
Here is a sick edit with some smooth lines. I got to kick it with Jesus for a minute during my L.A. visit, he is a chill dude. Watch and enjoy.
There are some pretty good clips in this video once the riding kicks in. Featuring, our LA flow team riders Mike Chacon and Jamil Gray.
Hern will be there.
Join us in our brand new 3500 square foot Downtown location. Come meet our family (literally!) and enjoy great food, great people, great music, and the DOPEST bikes in town! We’ll have something for everyone to take home.
SUNDAY NOV. 7th FROM 12-3pm
I shot a ton of black and white film while in LA. I was fortunate enough to get into the world premier of To Live and Ride in LA despite it being sold out. After the premiere there was a killer after party with a half pipe.
If you watched the LA Brakeless edit from earlier in the week you might recognize Josh. He shreds hard and has the crazies 360’s where he looks like he is going to headbutt his front wheel.

I spent a few hours riding and kicking it with the dudes from LA Brakeless. It was great to follow these guys around, spot to spot, filming them shred.
This is definitely a solid crew of riders. So happy to meet everyone who works at LAB too.

I put together this edit from the tons of footage I gathered at the Bicycle Film Festival street party and trick comp in Los Angeles. Thanks to everyone who gave me a ride, let me borrow or let me crash on their couch. Josh Boothby won the competition, but Joe McKeag was killing it with the 360’s all day. Watch and enjoy!
I just got back to Seattle from LA and I have so much video footage to edit. To get a feel for what the weekend was like, be sure to check out Mikey’s flickr. He captured all of the happenings quite nicely!

This week I will be in LA for the Bicycle Film Festival. The rest of the crew will be holding it down at the blog and I will do my best to do some mobile posting. Feel free to tweet me @zlogblog if you want to meet up. I’ll be selling tees and hats out of my backpack for cheap to pay for my trip, so get at me.
Any orders from the Zlog Boutique will be sent out on Tuesday Sept 7th when I get back.
To Live and Ride in LA will be premiering at the Los Angeles Bicycle Film Festival on the 3rd of September. My tickets are booked, see you there!
