These pictures popped up on Mexico Fixed and I had to repost. I have been reminiscing of old bikes lately. I love pursuit bikes, but the last year has been all fixed freestyle as far as riding goes (trying to keep up with the youngins). I definitely need to get rolling on one again.

Remember this guy?
I am not sure this really classifies as a pursuit bike since the wheels are both 700c and the top tube barely slopes, but it has that funny bike look all the same. I am more excited about the Livery Pursuit MK2, which is coming soon; but how soon?
Thanks to Scott for sending in these photos of his ride.
This thing is hot! It’s up for sale too. Get the details over at Fixed Gear London.
This one from Dreamworks Cycles in Tokyo is crazy, especially with those wheels.

Here is another look at Laurent Fignon’s Gitane pursuit bike, which I previously posted about. Designed to beat the hour record, but was never attempted with this bike. A shame that such a freakish speed machine never got to perform.
I just purchased a Gitane track frame today so I thought I would do a little digging for more Gitane goodies. I came across this spectacular beast, which was intended to go for the hour record but it never got used.
Wow, I really love this build. See more photos and a write up over at Posterious D’emploi
Nemesis made another one of the pursuit style triple triangle frames. My buddy has the blue one and it is one sick machine. Get your hands on this if you can.

Damn, I saw this build over at profilefixed. I must say I have always loved the look of those confetti hubs. The bike belongs to Andrew Temkin. Check his flickr
